A Souls-Like Hack-n-Slash with Bullet-hell elements

Infernal Sin was created by Digital Imp Studios using the Unreal Engine for the final year Game Development module at the University of Derby, and it was showcased at the 2019 Games@Derby Expo.

For the creation of Infernal Sin, I served as a Co-Creative Lead for the project, along with the role of Programming Lead. Infernal Sin was the first large-scale project I worked on that involved members with different skillsets, all contributing simultaneously. It also marked the first time I took on the role of Programming Lead for a project. I learned how to manage a team of such size, coordinate the assignment of tasks, implement new features into the game, and ensure that all members had easy access to contribute. All of this had to be completed within strict deadlines and with a detailed list of technical requirements. As Programming Lead, I was involved throughout the codebase, providing guidance to programmers where necessary, and I had direct responsibility for implementing the Projectiles, HUD, Sounds, and AI Behaviors.
